Battery Replacement

I offer professional battery-cell replacement services for your Bosch battery. This service is only available in EU due to ADR shipping rules. We can also make a Lightweight battery of 340Wh, weighing about 1.2Kg.

Battery Assessment:  Inspection of current battery for capacity, internal resistance, damage and thermal issues.

Select Replacement: We choose appropriate battery-cells as replacement. Some Bosch OEM packs contain Chinese EVE cells or Sanyo cells that tend to develop heating issues with age.

With our packs, you'll get capacity guaranteed, unlike OEM Bosch packs which can be 430Wh in a 500 battery.

Installation: Replace old cells with Samsung or LG cells.

Testing: Check pack performance post-installation. We test at 250% of the normal usage and do thermal infrared tests.

Battery BMS PCB repair

Diagnosis: Identify faulty diodes, converters, CANbus, ISL or MCU chips

Microscope Soldering: Precision hot-air work under the microscope

Testing: Test all safety functionality post-repair. Thermography with infrared camera, Short circuit interruption, Balancing capacity, Solderjoint Microfracture analysis

Connector failure: Ensure trouble free rides with a new, sturdy connector. Due to  common issues with Bosch battery holders heat can develop in the connectors, melting the contact pins and plastic.

Enclosure replacement: Theft attempts, dropping or mishandling can crack the case, exposing the sensitive internals to rain and dirt causing fire risk.

Inspection:We check the severity of the damage. If the heat or water has propagated into the battery or circuitry inside a full re-cell or BMS replacement can be offered.

Replacement: Replace damaged parts, but only if the other components are deemed safe for further use. Safety is priority.

Bosch Battery Activator Dongle

Unique, in house developed Activator Dongle that enables any 36V (26V-42V) battery to be used in the proprietary Bosch system, enabling 3rd party battery use. Either as main battery or as a range extender. Only for the Non-Smart BES2 System.

Bosch doesn't offer this but we developed this.

Dual battery compatible if your bike has dual battery enabled (most bikes after 2016). Even LiFePO4 and Lead acid batteries can be used. Solar bikes can also utilize this.
